The aim of this role is to lead the Computational Genomics Team. The successful candidate will have a proven record in developing and setting up high-throughput annotation pipelines. The Computational Genomics Team leader will ensure that TGAC is at the forefront of innovation in the latest methods for genomic annotation in particular in the context of next generation sequencing technologies.

The candidate will have a proven record in software development and project management in particular in the context of large datasets. The Sequencing Informatics Team leader will work to ensure that TGAC is at the forefront of innovation in the latest methods for high-performance computing and storage technologies.
